# Charlie

> Connect Charlie to Doozy via Merge.

## Overview

To connect Charlie, you will need to provide the following information:

* **Client ID**
* **Client Secret**

## Prerequisites

* You have Administrator permissions in your company's Charlie instance

## Step 1: Access Your Client ID and Secret

  <Step title="Click on 'Integrations' on the left side." />

  <Step title="Click on 'API Keys'." />

  <Step title="Generate the Client ID and Client Secret for your Charlie account.">
    <Warning>Copy and safely store both the Client ID and Client Secret. If you've previously generated credentials, retrieve the Client Secret from your HR or IT team who saved it.</Warning>

## Enter Credentials into Doozy

<Note>You must be a **Doozy admin** to connect an HRIS integration.</Note>

  <Step title="Go to the Doozy web app.">Navigate to [Workspace Settings](https://doozy.live/app/settings/workspace) → **Integrations** → **HRIS**.</Step>

  <Step title="Client Secret: Enter the Client Secret from Step 1." />

  <Step title="Click Submit." />
