# How to Connect TriNet

> Learn how to connect your TriNet account to Doozy

## Overview

This guide will walk you through connecting your TriNet account to Doozy to sync employee data.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

* Integration Administrator access in your company's TriNet instance

## Credentials Required

* **Company ID**
* **Client ID**
* **Client Secret**

## Steps

### Step 1: Access the TriNet Integration Center

1. Sign in to [TriNet](https://identity.trinet.com/)
2. Navigate to **Admin•Manager** → **Integration Center**
3. Click **Get Started** from the **TriNet API** section of Available Apps

### Step 2: Generate API Credentials

1. Select the applicable integration name from the **Select an Integration** dropdown
2. Click **Accept** to agree to the terms

<Note>If you don't see the company you're attempting to integrate with in the dropdown, contact your TriNet account manager.</Note>

### Step 3: Copy Your Credentials

1. Copy the **Company ID**, **Client ID**, and **Client Secret**
2. Store these credentials securely

<Warning>Do not navigate away from this screen until you've saved the credentials locally or entered them in Doozy. These credentials cannot be accessed again after leaving this page.</Warning>

3. Click **OK** to complete the setup

## Enter Credentials into Doozy

<Note>You must be a workspace admin to connect an HRIS integration.</Note>

1. Navigate to [Workspace Settings](https://doozy.live/app/settings/workspace)
2. Click **Integrations** in the sidebar
3. Select **HRIS**
4. Choose **TriNet** from the list of providers
5. Enter your **Company ID**
6. Enter your **Client ID**
7. Enter your **Client Secret**
8. Click **Connect** to complete the integration
