# Set up individual introductions

> Introduce a person to specific teammates or groups.

Individual Introductions connect one person with a set of colleagues: perfect for onboarding new hires or building cross-team relationships.

## Setup

1. Go to [doozy.live/app](https://doozy.live/app) and open **Introductions**
2. Create a new introduction and set the type to **Individual**
3. Configure the settings below
4. Click **Schedule** to launch it

## Configuration

| Setting              | Description                                      |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------ |
| **Who to introduce** | Select the person receiving introductions        |
| **Introduce to**     | Choose who they'll meet (see destinations below) |
| **Schedule**         | Send now, or pick a date - one-off or recurring  |
| **Meeting duration** | The default meeting length                       |
| **Message**          | Custom intro message sent to matches             |

### Destinations

| Destination                  | Description                                    |
| ---------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| **Specific People**          | Hand-pick individuals                          |
| **Channel Members**          | Everyone in a Slack channel                    |
| **Groups**                   | Team or department *(HRIS required)*           |
| **Manager's Direct Reports** | Their manager's team *(HRIS required)*         |
| **Manager's All Reports**    | Full org under their manager *(HRIS required)* |

## What Happens Next

1. Matches receive a DM in Slack
2. They pick a time using calendar integration
3. They meet via Doozy video, Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, or in person
