Make sure youโ€™ve added Doozy to your Slack Workspace. If youโ€™ve not done so yet, follow these instructions. We also recommend connecting Doozy to your HRIS.
Surveys enable you to create comprehensive forms with multiple questions to gather detailed feedback, insights, and data from your team. Unlike polls which focus on a single question, surveys collect rich, multi-dimensional feedback that provides deeper insights into user experiences, satisfaction, and needs.

โญ Best Practices

  1. Keep it short โ€” 5-10 questions is ideal; longer surveys have lower completion rates
  2. Put key questions first โ€” Most important questions at the top in case users donโ€™t finish
  3. Be specific โ€” โ€œHow satisfied were you with orientation?โ€ beats โ€œHow are things?โ€
  4. Mix question types โ€” Vary scales, choices, and open-ended to maintain engagement
  5. Use anonymity for sensitive topics โ€” Culture surveys, leadership feedback, complaints
  6. Survey at milestones โ€” Day 7, Day 30, Day 90 are natural feedback points
  7. Set deadlines โ€” 3-7 days creates urgency and improves response rates

๐ŸŽฏ Common Use Cases

  • Onboarding Feedback: Comprehensive assessment at 7, 30, and 90 days
  • Training Evaluations: Multi-dimensional evaluation of training effectiveness
  • Employee Engagement: Quarterly pulse surveys with multiple engagement indicators
  • Exit Interviews: Detailed feedback from departing employees
  • Culture Assessments: Anonymous surveys on company culture and values
  • Product Feedback: Gather user opinions on features and improvements
