Connect your Slack Workspace to Doozy

If you’ve not done so yet, follow these instructions

Make sure to also connect Doozy to your HR system! See the Connect your HRIS help page.

Open 'Polls and Surveys'

Go to ‘Doozy’ in your Slack sidebar, then choose ‘Home’, and select ‘Polls and Surveys’

Create a survey

Send a multi-question survey to channels, new hires, managers and individuals.

Choose 'Create Survey'

Enter your survey title and an (optional) description

Enter your questions, one by one

Choose from 6 question types

  • Multiple choice (you can input your choice of answers, one per line, in the field below)
  • Scale 1–5
  • Scale 1–10
  • Emoji reactions
  • Employee NPS
  • Open ended

Choose '...' next to a question to re-order, edit or remove it

Choose whether responses should be anonymous

Choose who can view the results - the creator only, or everyone

Choose how long people have to respond to the survey (from unlimited time to just 1 minute)

Choose where you want to post the survey

  • Post in a channel
  • Send directly to channel members
  • Send to individual(s)
  • Send to managers
    Sending in a private channel? Make sure Doozy has been invited first!

Schedule your survey, choosing the date and time you want it to be sent

Choose whether you want the survey to recur or be a one-off
