Create custom quizzes with your own questions or let Doozyโs AI draft them for you.
Quizzes are perfect for team building, trivia nights, training validation, or just for fun.
Quizzes are built in the Doozy dashboard. Go to doozy.live/app,
sign in, and open Quizzes โ Create quiz.
โ๏ธ Building your quiz
The quiz editor has two ways to start:
- Describe it to the AI - tell Doozy what you want (e.g. โ10-question onboarding
quiz on company benefits and PTOโ) and it drafts questions you can edit.
- Build manually - start from a blank quiz and add everything yourself.
You can switch between them at any time, and the AI chat stays available to refine
your quiz as you go - rewriting questions, changing correct answers, or adding rounds.
Quiz details
- Title - give your quiz a descriptive name
- Description - optional context about the quiz
Rounds & questions
Questions are organised into rounds:
- Rounds - add as many as you like, each with its own name
- Questions - each question is multiple choice, with:
- The question text
- Two or more answer options
- One or more options marked correct
- An optional explanation shown after the question is answered
- An optional image or GIF
Reorder rounds and questions by dragging them.
Thereโs no limit on the number of questions or rounds you create.
๐พ Saving and scheduling
When youโre building a quiz, you have two options in the editor:
- Save & Exit - saves the quiz so you can schedule it later
- Schedule - saves the quiz and takes you straight to the schedule editor
See Schedule a quiz for the scheduling walkthrough.
โ๏ธ Managing a quiz
Open a quiz from the Quizzes list to reach its detail page, where you can:
- Edit - reopen the editor to change questions and rounds
- Schedules - view every time this quiz has been scheduled
- Results - see participation, scores, and feedback
- Admins - give other people access to edit the quiz, manage rounds, and view results
- Sharing & Settings - set visibility to Private (only you and admins) or
Workspace (anyone in your Doozy workspace can use it), and get a shareable link
โญ Best Practices
- Theme your rounds - Group questions by topic for better flow
- Mix difficulty - Balance easy and hard questions to keep everyone engaged
- Use images - Visual elements make questions more memorable
- Add explanations - A short explanation helps people learn from wrong answers
- Reasonable length - 10-20 questions keeps engagement high
