Create custom quizzes with your own questions or choose from our pre-made question bank. Quizzes are perfect for team building, trivia nights, training validation, or just for fun! 🖥️ Start from our web app, doozy.live, and sign into your account to get started.

⚙️ Configuration

Quiz Details

Set up your quiz’s basic information:
  • Title: Give your quiz a descriptive name
  • Description: Add context about the quiz
  • Cover Image: Upload an image to make your quiz stand out

Questions & Rounds

Build your quiz by organizing questions into rounds:

Adding Questions

Choose from two methods:
  • Create your own: Write custom questions with multiple choice answers
  • Question Bank: Select from thousands of pre-made questions across various categories
Question Structure:
  • Question text
  • Multiple choice answers (typically 4 options)
  • One correct answer
  • Optional: Add images or GIFs to questions

Organizing Rounds

  • Unlimited rounds: Create as many themed rounds as you like
  • Reorder questions: Drag and drop to rearrange
  • Edit or remove: Use the drawer on the right to manage questions
  • Round names: Give each round a descriptive title
There’s no limit on the number of questions or rounds you create!

Visibility Options:
  • Private (default): Only you and collaborators can access
  • Team: Available in your team’s quiz library
  • Public: Creates a shareable link for anyone to use

🚀 How to Use Your Quiz

Once created, you have multiple options for deploying your quiz:

Schedule in Slack

Send your quiz directly to Slack channels or individuals:
  1. Click ‘Schedule in Slack’, then ‘Open Doozy for Slack’
  2. In Slack, select Doozy from the apps menu
  3. Click ’🚀 Start activity’
  4. Choose ‘Quiz’
  5. Select your quiz from the dropdown
  6. Choose when and where to schedule it
  7. Click ‘Schedule’
Scheduling Options:
  • Play Mode: All at once, one question per day, or one round per day
  • Destination: Channels, individuals, groups, managers, or new hires
  • Frequency: One-time or recurring (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.)
  • Leaderboard: Enable competition with scoring

Play on a Video Call

Launch your quiz in a Doozy room with built-in video calls:
  1. Click ‘Start quiz’ and choose your role:
    • Host: Run the quiz as the quiz master (non-playing)
    • Play: Join as a player competing for the top spot
  2. Invite your team to join the Doozy room and battle it out!
Doozy rooms include video calls, emojis, GIFs, and real-time interaction!

Host Mode

  • You’re the quiz master, not a player
  • Control question timing and flow
  • See live answer submissions
  • Track who’s answered and how fast
  • Perfect for formal training or large groups

Play Mode

  • Compete for the top leaderboard position
  • Answer questions alongside your team
  • See your score in real-time
  • Ideal for casual trivia or team bonding

👥 Collaboration

Work together on quizzes with your team:
  1. Login to doozy.live
  2. Make sure teammates are in your Doozy space
  3. Go to your Library
  4. Click the quiz you want to collaborate on
  5. Click ‘Collaborators’
  6. Add collaborators
  7. They can now edit the quiz with you!

  1. Theme your rounds — Group questions by topic for better flow
  2. Mix difficulty — Balance easy and hard questions to keep everyone engaged
  3. Use images — Visual elements make questions more memorable
  4. Test it first — Run through your quiz before sharing with the team
  5. Clear correct answers — Avoid ambiguous questions that frustrate players
  6. Reasonable length — 10-20 questions keeps engagement high
