How to create an icebreaker

🖥️ Start from our web app, doozy.live, and sign into your account to get started.

From your home tab, choose 'Create icebreaker'

Choose to manually create an icebreaker, generate one with AI, or choose from our library of ready-made icebreakers

Add each icebreaker into the icebreaker set

Don't forget to give your icebreaker set a name!

Select 'Done' when you've created, or chosen, and added your icebreakers

Decide whether to schedule in Slack, schedule in a Doozy room or play now in a room!

  1. Hit ‘Schedule in Slack’, then ‘Open Doozy for Slack’
  2. In Slack, select Doozy from the apps menu
  3. Click ‘Start a Doozy’
  4. Choose ‘Custom icebreaker’
  5. Select the icebreaker you created from the ‘Pick your icebreaker’ dropdown
  6. Choose when and where to schedule the icebreaker
  7. Hit ‘Start’
  1. Hit ‘Schedule an event’ and create an event for the icebreaker to be played in.
  2. Add some details like an event title, description and pick a time.
  3. Make sure to invite your team by editing your participants, or invite new ones.
  4. Want to add more activities to this event? Tap the Add Activity button.
  5. Then tap ‘Create’ and you’re all set! Your event is automatically created and shared with your participants.
Your event happens in a Doozy room, with video calls, emojis and the gifs built-in!
Participants will be automatically sent a invite, and it’ll be added to their calendar of choice. Nothing more for you to do!
  1. Hit ‘Launch in browser’
  2. We’ll launch a Doozy room and you can invite your team to join you and battle it out!

  1. Login to doozy.live
  2. Make sure your teammates have been added to your space
  3. If not, invite them to your Doozy space
  4. Go to your Library
  5. Click the icebreaker set you want to collaborate on
  6. Click “collaborators”
  7. Add collaborator
  8. You’re all set!
Doozy gives you two options to publish your icebreakers:PublicThis will create a link to your icebreaker template, allowing others to start a game or customise it to their own needs. This can be shared anywhere online, and will let any other Doozy user use your set!TeamLooking to let your teammates re-use your icebreaker set or customise it? Choose this option and it will be available in your team’s icebreaker library.Not publishedThis is the default option and means your icebreaker set is private and accessible only to you and your collaborators.
