When you’re enrolled in a track, Doozy guides you through a series of steps — delivering content directly to you in Slack. Here’s what to expect.

📬 How Content is Delivered

All track content arrives as direct messages from Doozy in Slack. You’ll receive notifications just like any other Slack message.

Steps are delivered on a schedule set by your admin. You might receive multiple steps on the same day, or they may be spread out over days or weeks.

📚 Your To-Do List

When you receive quizzes, surveys, tasks, or introductions that need action, they appear in your to-do list on the Doozy home screen.

Finding Your To-Dos

  1. Open Doozy from your Slack sidebar
  2. Look for the 📚 Your to-dos section at the top
  3. Click on any item to take action

Each to-do shows:
  • Title — What you need to do
  • Due date — When it’s due (if set)
  • Track name — Which track it’s from (e.g., “via Onboarding Track”)
Mandatory items appear at the top of your list. Complete them first to stay on track!

When You’re All Caught Up

If you have no pending items, you’ll see: “You’re all caught up ✅”

👥 Finding Your Mentor

If your track includes a mentor assignment, you’ll be paired with someone to guide you. Here’s how to find and connect with them:

On the Doozy Home Screen

  1. Open Doozy from your Slack sidebar
  2. Look for the 👥 Mentoring section
  3. You’ll see your mentor’s name and a link to your shared channel
Your mentor card shows:
  • Who your mentor is — Their name with a link to their profile
  • Open Slack Channel — Direct link to your group DM
  • Assignment date — When you were paired

Contacting Your Mentor

Click Open Slack Channel to jump directly to your group DM with your mentor. This is your space to:
  • Ask questions
  • Schedule 1:1 meetings
  • Get guidance and support
Your mentor was matched based on factors like timezone, location, and availability to give you the best support.

📊 Viewing Your Progress

You can check your progress through any track at any time.

Finding Your Enrolled Tracks

  1. Open Doozy from your Slack sidebar
  2. Click 🛤️ Tracks
  3. Look for the Enrolled Tracks section
  4. Click View on any track to see details

Understanding Your Progress

The progress view shows each step and its status:

Action neededThis step requires you to do something (take a quiz, complete a task, etc.)
Pending🕒This step hasn’t been sent yet
You’ll also see a summary like:
  • “Step 3 of 8” — How far through the track you are
  • “2 steps need your attention” — Items waiting for your action
  • “All done!” — You’ve completed the track

Contact Track Admins

Each track has assigned admins who can help if you have questions or issues:
  1. Open Doozy🛤️ Tracks
  2. View the track you need help with
  3. Look for Need help? Contact the track admins
  4. Reach out to any listed admin

Common Questions

I missed a message — where can I find it? Check your DMs with Doozy. All track messages are sent there and stay in your message history. I can’t find my to-do list Open Doozy from your Slack sidebar. Your to-dos appear near the top of the home screen. My mentor isn’t responding Check the Mentoring section on your Doozy home screen for the direct channel link. If you’re still having issues, contact the track admins. I want to leave a track Contact your track admin — they can remove you from a track if needed.
