Celebrations are a great way to recognise important moments within your team. Doozy will help you celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries, posting celebratory messages in your public Slack channels. Your team can also create and sign cards, with gifs, images and videos, for any occasion.

How celebrations work

Join a Slack channel with celebrations running

You can find instructions on how to set up celebrations here.

When celebrations have been enabled in a channel, you will see the notification '@user has started (birthday or anniversary) celebrations in this channel'

Wait for a birthday or anniversary date to arrive

A notification will be posted in the Slack channel:

Managers can choose to be notified a week in advance of a celebration on their team

They will then be prompted to create a card and ask their team to sign it:

Team members and managers can add personalised messages, gifs and videos to a card:

Birthday and anniversary dates are synced directly from your HRIS

It’s easy to create custom celebrations for occasions other than birthdays or anniversaries. Anyone can create a personalised leaving card for a teammate, or celebrate a new hire with a weclome card.
