Overview

To authenticate Humaans.io, you will need to generate an API Key and paste it into the linking flow.

Prerequisites

  • You have Admin permissions in your company’s Humaans.io instance

Step 1: Generate Your API Key

Log into your Humaans.io account.

From the sidebar, click the three dots to extend the drop-down menu. Click 'API access tokens'.

Create or edit an existing API Key.

  • If you have an existing API key, click the edit button to update the scopes
  • If you do not have an existing key, click ‘Generate new token’

Configure the scopes you will need for Doozy.

Required Scopes

ScopeWhat It Enables
View public dataBasic employee data: name, email, job title
View public and private dataRequired for Doozy to detect pre-hires and terminated employees. Also enables: date of birth, country, city, state, phone number
Without “View public and private data”, employees will not be picked up until their hire date, and terminated employees will not be identified as such.

Copy the generated API key.

The API key is only shown once. Make sure to save it securely.

Enter Credentials into Doozy

You must be a Doozy admin to connect an HRIS integration.

Go to the Doozy web app.

Navigate to Workspace Settings → Integrations → HRIS.

Choose Humaans as the HRIS you want to connect.

API Key: Paste your Humaans API key.

Click Submit.
