Overview

To connect Lucca, you will need to provide the following information:
  • Tenant URL
  • API Key

Prerequisites

  • You have Administrator permissions in your company’s Lucca instance

Step 1: Locate Your Lucca Tenant URL

Log in to your Lucca tenant.

Copy the base URL from your browser's address bar.

For example: https://yourcompany.lucca.io

Step 2: Create an API Key

In Lucca, click the Settings gear icon in the top right.

Select 'API Keys'.

Click 'Generate a new API Key'.

Name your API Key (e.g., 'Doozy Integration').

Add the following permissions:

  • Consult / create / modify users (Required)
  • Consult leaves (Optional — for Time Off Announcements)
  • Make absence requests (Optional — for Time Off Announcements)

Enter your email address as the Technical contact.

Select 'Third-party publisher' as the API key usage.

Click 'Generate a new API key'.

Step 3: Configure Role Permissions

On the API Keys page, click 'Role administration' for your new key.

Go to the 'Co-workers' tab and add the following permissions:

  • See future employees
  • See former employees
  • View employee jobs (Optional)
  • View employee managers (Optional)
  • View employee qualifications (Optional)

Save your role configuration.

Enter Credentials into Doozy

You must be a Doozy admin to connect an HRIS integration.

Go to the Doozy web app.

Navigate to Workspace Settings → Integrations → HRIS.

Choose Lucca as the HRIS you want to connect.

Tenant URL: Enter the base URL from Step 1.

API Key: Enter the API key from Step 2.

Click Submit.
