Overview

This guide will walk you through connecting your TriNet account to Doozy to sync employee data.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:
  • Integration Administrator access in your company’s TriNet instance

Credentials Required

  • Company ID
  • Client ID
  • Client Secret

Steps

Step 1: Access the TriNet Integration Center

  1. Sign in to TriNet
  2. Navigate to Admin•ManagerIntegration Center
  3. Click Get Started from the TriNet API section of Available Apps

Step 2: Generate API Credentials

  1. Select the applicable integration name from the Select an Integration dropdown
  2. Click Accept to agree to the terms
If you don’t see the company you’re attempting to integrate with in the dropdown, contact your TriNet account manager.

Step 3: Copy Your Credentials

  1. Copy the Company ID, Client ID, and Client Secret
  2. Store these credentials securely
Do not navigate away from this screen until you’ve saved the credentials locally or entered them in Doozy. These credentials cannot be accessed again after leaving this page.
  1. Click OK to complete the setup

Enter Credentials into Doozy

You must be a workspace admin to connect an HRIS integration.
  1. Navigate to Workspace Settings
  2. Click Integrations in the sidebar
  3. Select HRIS
  4. Choose TriNet from the list of providers
  5. Enter your Company ID
  6. Enter your Client ID
  7. Enter your Client Secret
  8. Click Connect to complete the integration
