Overview
To connect Okta, you will need to provide the following information:
Prerequisites
- You have Super Admin, Org Admin, or Group Admin permissions in Okta
- API tokens inherit the permissions of the user who created them
Okta recommends generating API tokens using a service account that won’t be deactivated and has Super Admin permissions that won’t change.
Step 1: Find Your Okta Domain
Click on your Profile in the top right corner.
Copy the domain below your email.
Include .okta.com in the domain (e.g., yourcompany.okta.com).
Step 2: Create an API Token
In Okta, click on 'Security' in the left column.
Select 'API' from the dropdown.
Navigate to the 'Tokens' tab.
Name your token (e.g., 'Doozy Integration').
Copy the token value.
The token is only shown once. Make sure to save it securely.
Enter Credentials into Doozy
You must be a Doozy admin to connect an HRIS integration.
Choose Okta as the HRIS you want to connect.
Domain: Enter your Okta domain from Step 1.
API Token: Enter the token from Step 2.
